Lightweights Ross Pearson and Abel Trujillo are making quick turnarounds from fights earlier this month, as the UFC announced that they’ll meet one another at UFC Fight Night 84 in Brisbane, Australia, in March.
Pearson has alternated between losses and wins over his last seven fights, continuing that streak with a decision loss to Francisco Trinaldo last week at UFC Fight Night 81. Trujillo, meanwhile, halted a two fight losing streak at UFC 195 earlier this month, submitting Tony Sims in the first round.
UFC Fight Night 84 will air in the U.S. on UFC Fight Pass on Saturday, March 19 due to the time difference, headlined by a heavyweight bout between Frank Mir and Mark Hunt.
