UFC Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will be undergoing another hand surgery after her UFC 193 victory over Valerie Letourneau.

The 28-year-old Polish champ met with a surgeon in Los Angeles this week to look over the broken hand she suffered in her second successful title defense, and she announced on Instagram that she’ll be going under the knife. She also made the announcement in style:

Penick’s Analysis: Here’s to a quick and easy recovery process. Jedrzejczyk remains one of the most endearing and likable competitors on the UFC’s roster, and this is just going to bolster that idea. It’s great to see she remains in good spirits despite the injury, and hopefully all goes smoothly on the surgery so that she’s able to get back in action as soon as she’d like.
